I'm doing this because I miss the woods!

There is a spring in my village and I planted many banana and mango trees around it!

They grew up and when I saw them I was very happy!

I planted a lot of sugarcane too and they grew really long!

And when I arrived at the village I told my relatives not to cut those canes.

Because I didn't plant it for them to eat, it was to cool the water!

Then one day I went to Santa Helena and when I came back I thought: “I’m going to go see if my plants have grown”.

And when I got there, the reeds were all burned! The fire burned!

And I don't even know who set the fire that burned my plants!

Sometimes the fire comes from far away and burns your plants.

But I also got mad at myself because I cut grass and it was dry so it burned!

I left the dry grass around it and thought: “Let it rot so the plants can grow well.”

That's when they burned.

But I also didn't build a firebreak around them.

If I had, they wouldn't have burned!

There you go! That's all I wanted to say.
